The Top Eleven Tips for Managing a Good Blog

Some nice advice on a blog posting from Vincent Maher nicely pre-packaged as a Top Eleven about Writing better blogs (as frequent readers have now probably now realized 11 and 22 are my favorite long list numbers).

Of course, some of these rules are flagrantly abused on this my  site Buzz Canuck. I read some of them and I realized "damn, he's right -  I do way too little of that" like #1  - a blog entry is a stub for conversation  (my posts sometimes far too long) and #11 - be active in your own conversations (although i read all my comments sometimes I'm too busy to respond back).

The differential between journalism and blogging is an interesting one - are you simply a community manager or a writer and fountain of insight or some amalgam of the two?
