As Ed Lee mentions in his post, Toronto is a lightning rod for social media. However, it's getting tougher to break into the game unless you're blessed with the name Shel.
In the batter's box, we have Shel Israel, inventor of Powerpoint and co-author of in vogue book Naked Communications for an encore performance at Third Tuesday in Toronto (and Third Monday in Ottawa)
And in the on-deck circle, Shel Holtz , pioneer in social media, corporate communications and podcasting arrives in Toronto for an AIMs event this Wednesday.
What the Shel is Going On! Are we living such SHEL-tered lives we need a double hit? Aren't we being a bit SHEL-fish? I may attend both events and play the SHEL game. I'm curious to know what Shel I. is building with his new book Global Neighborhoods and what Shel H. has to say about the strategic place of social media with today's executive and senior marketer - we still haven't brokethrough this barrier effectively yet.
